Made to Order Process

Nearly all garments are made to order in our London atelier to reduce fabric waste and allow for full customisation, ensuring each piece is created with sustainability in mind.

Please allow 8–10 weeks for your piece to be handmade and dispatched. This waiting time is part of the process of creating a garment made specifically for you.

If you require your order sooner, please contact us before placing your order. A rush service may be available depending on current workload.

Production times for bespoke designs and entirely new custom pieces will vary depending on complexity and will be confirmed prior to order approval.

Corsets & Corset Dresses

Corseted pieces are available in standard sizes using our size chart. If your measurements fall between sizes, are outside the chart, or you are unsure which size to choose, simply provide your bust and waist measurements in the personalisation box and a custom fit will be created at no additional cost.

If you are petite, tall, or require any additional adjustments for comfort or proportion, please include this in the personalisation box as well.

Our corsets are steel boned and structured with a cotton coutil lining, allowing them to be safely tightlaced to achieve an approximate 2-inch waist reduction. For a traditional cinched silhouette, choose a corset 2–3 inches smaller than your natural waist measurement. For a softer fit with little or no reduction, choose a size closer to your natural measurements. When worn loosely, the back will sit slightly open; when fully tightlaced, it will close almost entirely, creating a sculpted finish.

Dresses & Skirts

All skirts are custom made to the waist measurement provided and some dresses are available in standard sizing with a size chart, while others are fully made to measure. Each product page will clearly state which applies, along with any specific measurements required for that design.

For both dresses and skirts, the length is approximately 100 cm from waist to hem. If you would like this adjusted, please include your preferred length in the personalisation box when ordering.

If any additional measurements are required for your chosen piece, we will contact you directly via email after your order has been placed.

Alterations & Custom Requests

Many elements of our pieces can be adjusted, including length, proportion, and selected construction details - for example, the neckline of our Pre-Raphaelite dresses can often be altered to suit your preference.

Custom fabric or colour variations may also be possible depending on availability. Please include all requests at checkout or contact us prior to ordering.

Orders, Cancellations & Size Changes

Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase. After this period, fabric and materials are ordered specifically for your piece and production will begin.

If your size changes after ordering, please contact us as soon as possible. If production has not yet begun or the fabric has not been cut, we will be able to adjust your size accordingly.

If you are purchasing a limited or one-off piece and are unsure about sizing due to anticipated changes, you may place your order to secure the item. Please include a note in the personalisation box stating that your final measurements will be provided later. We will contact you directly when your order is approaching production to confirm final sizing.
