To put on your corset, always fully loosen the lacing first. Once in place, tighten gradually and evenly from top to bottom, adjusting slowly until you reach your desired fit. The corset should feel supportive and secure, never forced or painful.

To remove your corset, always fully loosen the lacing before removing. Never force or pull the structure, as this can place unnecessary stress on the fastening system.

Corsets should never be machine washed or tumble dried, as this will damage the internal structure. If needed, gently spot clean using a soft damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding prolonged exposure to water and taking care around the boning channels and hardware. Do not soak, wring, or apply direct heat. If ironing is required, always place a cotton or muslin cloth over the fabric before pressing, particularly on delicate silks, to avoid damage or burning.

For cleaning beyond light care, professional dry cleaning is recommended, ideally with experience in delicate or structured garments.

When storing your corset, keep it flat or lightly rolled with the lining inward, ensuring no sharp folds occur along boning lines. Avoid placing heavy objects on top, and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. We recommend avoiding long-term hanging, as this can place strain on the eyelets and affect the structure over time.
